I don’t know how I could have missed this earlier but my friend and I were spouting out theories to why Tori gained her beasty powers later.
And it turns out…if you really think about it…the possible answer is quite simple!
First of all, Tori is a HALFLING!
Second, beasts are like animals and if I know my zoology, animals are pretty territorial. So, it’s possible that while her father was alive, Tori’s beastiness stayed dormant…almost as if her father’s beast was suppressing her own beast.
Then when he had died, her beast emerged because, essentially, it had more room to grow. There wasn’t a threat anymore so her beast kicked in.
Oh and I’m pretty sure the trauma of everything happening played a part in her transformation as well.
So its been nearly five days since the Doctor Who 2012 Christmas Special: The Snowmen has aired and I still can’t get over the fact at how amazingly well done it was! It most certainly ranks at the top of my favorite Christmas Special and has left me with just about the same amount of questions as most fans. Who is Clara Oswin Oswald? And how is it that she has died twice, both after meeting the Doctor only to meet him again with practically the same name and the same personality, but no knowledge of the Doctor? Now obviously The Snowmen occurred first in her time line (or did it?)…But who is Clara Oswin Oswald? My mind is buzzing with curiosity! All I know is that I cannot wait for the next part of the series to come out in April! So excited!
